There are lots of ways you can raise money for Contact the Elderly. From running and cycling to skydiving, swimming, trekking and shopping on eBay – there is something for everyone!
We have places in a number of regular running events including the London 10k and the Santa Run. If you want a place in one of these, please contact our Fundraising Team. If you want to compete in a another running event such as the London Marathon, the Great North Run or Tough Mudder do let us know and we will support you 100% of the way.
We have five secured places that we can allocate to runners up to 21 March 2017. We are charging £20 (a non-charity place is usually £55).
To have one of our places, £20 must be paid first by cheque or BACS. Cheques should be made payable to Contact the Elderly and sent FAO Sharon Frankland, 2 Grosvenor Gardens, London SW1W 0DH, please ensure you include the ref: Stirling Marathon, runner's full name and email address.
For BACS payments please contact email@example.com.
By taking one of our places, you are committing to raising a minimum of £300 for Contact the Elderly.
Once your entrance fee is processed, you will receive a link giving you access to the system, a Just Giving link for your online fundraising and a Great Run Training link. We will also ask you for your t-shirt size. 3-4 weeks prior to the race, you will receive a race pack with a race number and instructions for the day.
We are really grateful to our runners and are thrilled to have these five places available for anyone wanting to take part in this fantastic event, all for the benefit of Contact the Elderly. We can offer plenty of encouragement and support and would be delighted to hear about any motivations, training stories and photos which we can use on our social media. Please direct any questions to firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0207 240 0630.
