OAPs living alone can increase risk of death by 10%

“Loneliness is one of the ‘hidden killers’ of elderly people. A study published last week revealed it can increase the risk of death by almost 10%,” according to The Sunday Post.

The newspaper speaks to a Contact the Elderly volunteer, 86-year-old Nan, who is helping other people her age to overcome loneliness.
