Hireserve pledges to tackle loneliness

JUN
09

As Contact the Elderly continues to grow to meet demand for our service, the support of our corporate partners is increasingly important.

With the support of businesses, large and small, across the UK we are able to deliver our vital loneliness-tackling service to more isolated older people.

Hireserve is one of our newest corporate supporters helping us to reach out to more older people who truly need our service. Hireserve is a recruitment software specialist, working with organisations of all shapes and sizes across the world. Hireserve’s Applicant Tracking Software (ATS) helps organisations to recruit more effectively the talent they need, by automating processes, reducing administration and enhancing candidate engagement and attraction. A number of charitable organisations use Hireserve ATS to help them recruit staff and volunteers.

Karen Ovenden, Operations Director of Hireserve, says: "We are very excited to begin supporting Contact the Elderly. This is the first time Hireserve has selected a formal Charity of the Year and Contact the Elderly was chosen after a team vote. The charity touched a lot of our hearts and we are delighted to help them continue their very important work through team fundraising and volunteering."

Hireserve is a small organisation with a team of talented developers, implementation specialists, support analysts and more. All the team are excited to get behind Contact the Elderly and start helping to raise money and awareness in their community.

Cliff Rich, Acting CEO of Contact the Elderly, says: "Any support we receive from businesses is always gratefully received. It is even better when companies really relate to our work and want to get involved as much as they can. We are thrilled that we are Hireserve’s first ever Charity of the Year and we cannot wait to start working with them."
